fall in the windy city

After a quick visit back to the mile high city, to see some amazing people and watch one of the best graduate, Mr. Sam Potts, I was inspired again to pick up my camera. Of course, now with all this inspiration, I find myself with no time. Life has been pretty busy but with no complaints. Working 7/days a week between assisting Jimmy Fishbein and working at the diner.
There will be more to come soon.

by the way, a really good friend of mine and incredible photographer, John Maznio, has been apart of a Colorado photography reality show called SHOOT. The season finally aires tuesday, October 26 and it's up to the public who wins. Vote for John Maznio's photo of Denver's Mayor Hickenlooper.

chicago

I recently graduated in June from the Art Institute of Colorado and since then I've moved to the great, windy city, Chicago. Its been a couple months but I've been keeping busy.

this is a shot that I did of a 'mad men' shoot. they're having a open casting and this was done as an actors headshot.

I recently got the job opportunity of being a photography assistant to a chicago-based photographer named Jimmy Fishbein. His work is amazing and I would suggest you check him out.

Aside from working a lot and recovering from a bike/car accident, [which I should let you know i'm fine but i must tell you all to wear a helmet when biking] i've been working more on personal work- medium format and 35mm. I will soon have images to post as soon as I finish scanning them.

cheers everyone,

-cheyenne

portrait IV

the shoot today was really awesome! thanks everyone who came out.
I already edited them, it was rough, seventeen people stopped by and i spent a good couple hours working on these.
I'm going out of town this weekend to boston so there won't be a shoot on saturday, sorry guys. and it may be very possible that next week is the last week i'm doing this so if you haven't been able to make it, here's your last chance.

seriously, everyone, thank you!
